Yashwant requests tea and Savi promptly prepares two glasses, offering the first to Shukla and Sandhya in gratitude for their assistance in setting up the stall. Eventually, she serves Yashwant and Nishikanth. Yashwant praises the tea’s quality and suggests that Savi stay updated on the news. He also mentions that Ishaan has severed ties with her, leaving Savi disheartened. Yashwant pays for the tea and departs.
Meanwhile, Ishaan queries Reeva about her distracted demeanour, prompting her to share the contents of a notice from the Bhosale family. The notice explicitly states the disassociation of the Bhosale family and institute from Savi. Reading this devastates Savi, who seeks solace by momentarily submerging her head in a water drum. Reflecting on her attachment to the Bhosle family, she tries to rationalise her feelings. Shukla notices a similar notice in a newspaper. Reeva questions Ishaan if he sanctioned the notice, to which he denies it, realising he needs to clarify matters with Savi.
Ishaan misinterprets Savi’s action:
Distracted by her distress, Savi inadvertently sets the newspaper on fire while preparing tea. Ishaan and Reeva arrive at the stall and witness the scene, with Ishaan interpreting Savi’s actions as a deliberate show of indifference towards him. Reeva wisely intervenes, sensing it’s not the right moment for confrontation. Grateful for her intervention, Ishaan decides not to confront his family about the notice, opting to abide by their decision. He acknowledges Savi’s attempt to convey her feelings through burning the paper but resolves not to question his family. He expresses gratitude to Reeva for her unwavering support.
Later, Shukla consoles Savi, who remarks on his comforting gesture. Seeking encouragement, Savi listens to the radio. Despite Shukla’s attempt to assist her, Ishaan insists he fulfils his contractual obligations. He reminds Shukla of his commitment to work for ten hours and offers him the choice to resign or fulfil his duties properly. Shukla emphasises his familial bond with Savi, prompting a comment from Ishaan.
