“Kya aapke zindagi mein mirch-masala kam pad gaya hai (Are you running low on spice and drama in your life)?” Then worry not, because the latest edition of the reality television series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives is set to premiere soon, promising to spice things up. The makers have also introduced this time an extra layer of ‘rivalry’ to enhance the entertainment for fans.
Ahead of the release of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives Season 3, the makers of the Netflix show unveiled its official trailer on Monday, giving us a sneak peek of what’s in store. The promo video revealed that, besides the OGs Neelam Kothari Soni, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey and Seema Sajdeh, this season will also feature a couple of new faces, raising the stakes considerably.

The trailer begins by showing the OG four as housewives in average Indian households, with this part of the video having the tone and aesthetics reminiscent of a ’90s television serial. While Maheep is seen cooking for her family in a small kitchen, Bhavana struggles with her noisy children. As Seema washes her husband’s large old underwear in a bucket, Neelam looks sad that her husband loves television more than her. “You tw*t,” Maheep screams at the production team in real-time as the four are in their vanity area getting ready for the shoot, asking, “How old do you think we are?”

Interrupting her speech, enter Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh’s daughter, entrepreneur Riddhima Kapoor Sahni; PASCO Group chairman Sanjay Passi’s wife and art design collector Shalini Passi; and entrepreneur Kalyani Saha Chawla, shocking everyone. Channeling full Poo vibes, they proclaim that they are the OGs’ new friends. However, the latter state that they don’t need any, marking the beginning of a battle between Delhi and Mumbai, justifying the refashioning of the title to “Fabulous Lives vs. Bollywood Wives.” The trailer further emphasises that this season will have “double mirch, double masala, style and drama.” The new season of the show will premiere on Netflix on October 18.
