Star Plus popular show Anupamaa is taking a dramatic 10-year leap, and the new promo has officially confirmed the upcoming generation shift. Rupali Ganguly continues as Anupamaa, now managing a successful restaurant, “Anu Ki Rasoi.” She will be joined by Alisha Parveen, who plays the grown-up Adhya, and Shivam Khajuria as Prem, Adhya’s love interest and business partner.
In the promo, Anupamaa faces financial challenges but remains strong. Prem encourages her not to worry, and she sends him with prasad for Adhya’s birthday. Meanwhile, Adhya, working as a tour guide, is shown in Dwarka, where she meets Prem. The scene highlights the growing bond between them as Adhya reflects on her mother’s influence, revealing her emotional distance from Anupamaa despite her love.
The leap also introduces new characters. Ishita Modi joins as Pari, the granddaughter of Anupamaa and daughter of Paritosh and Kinjal.
Spreha Chaterjee takes on the role of Mahi, Kavya’s daughter, whom Anupamaa cares for after Vanraj’s disappearance and Toshu’s arrogant behavior.
Lastly, Varun Kasturia plays Ansh, Dimpy’s son and Anupamaa’s grandson. After Dimpy’s tragic death, Ansh is left in Anupamaa’s care. Varun Kasturia is known for Lights, Camera, Lies (2024), Kavya – Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon (2023), and Hostel Days (2019).
