Gaurav Sharma, known for his role as Toshu in Star Plus’ hit show Anupamaa, is set to enter SAB TV’s Badall Pe Paon Hai. He will portray the character Maahir Dhillon.
In an interview with a leading portal, Gaurav revealed that Maahir is a multi-layered character—confident in his abilities yet sceptical about love and relationships, making him intriguing to watch.
The show has already depicted tensions in Rajat and Baani’s relationship with the arrival of Lavanya. However, Maahir’s entry will introduce a new challenge for the couple.
Baani is currently facing a challenging situation, with Rajat in jail and no option but to resort to illegal stock trading to arrange bail money. Maahir, a brilliant young lawyer, enters the scene. He stands firmly by his principles, refusing to defend anyone morally corrupt. His cynical view on relationships stems from his belief that women are attracted to wealth, not love.
Gaurav Sharma exited Anupamaa following the show’s leap, and fans are excited to see him in this new role.
