In tonight’s episode of Anupamaa, Radha’s father confronts Rahi and Anupama, questioning their interference in his decision. He defends himself by stating that his wife is unwell, leaving no one to take care of their financial needs. Rahi challenges him to take responsibility for his family, while also accusing the woman who paid him for Radha. The woman argues that she is not exploiting Radha for free and claims she is providing her with shelter and food. Rahi expresses her concern, asking when Radha will get the chance to enjoy her childhood or pursue an education. The woman dismisses her concerns, saying poor children don’t have the luxury of a proper lifestyle.
Anupama steps in and strongly criticises the woman, raising the issue of child labour and advocating for the rights of children. She shows empathy toward underprivileged kids and urges Radha’s father to recognise the value of a girl child. Her firm stance leaves Rahi feeling disgusted by Radha’s father’s actions. Anupama continues to reprimand the woman for trying to “buy” Radha.
Pakhi suggests to Toshu that Radha’s father should be asked to return the girl. Toshu, however, plans to spin the situation by claiming that Radha’s father willingly took her back. Dolly mentions that Prem had expressed faith in Anupama and Rahi to bring Radha back safely, but Toshu doubts their ability to succeed.
The woman argues that Radha would at least receive shelter and food if she went with her, given her mother’s illness and her father’s unemployment. She challenges Anupama, asking if she would be willing to take responsibility for Radha. At that moment, Radha’s father reveals that Anupama’s own son suggested he take the girl away. The woman once again confronts Anupama, demanding an answer about whether she would step up for Radha.
Later, Anupama and Rahi return home with Radha, much to the Shah family’s surprise. Radha happily reunites with Prem, who is overjoyed to see her. Toshu, however, is upset and confronts Anupama, accusing her of turning their home into a shelter. Despite his protests, Anupama and Rahi resolve to take full responsibility for Radha.
Anupama learns of Srishti, Radha’s mother, slipping into a coma. This sparks a discussion with Leela, who questions how long Radha will stay with them, while Toshu expresses concerns about the financial burden. Rahi steps forward to take full responsibility for Radha, but Anupama advises her not to act out of sheer emotion. Rahi reassures her, affirming her decision. Prem offers his support to Rahi, which makes Mahi envious.
As the family settles, Rahi spends quality time with Radha and feels deep sympathy for her situation. Meanwhile, Prem notices Mahi’s uneasiness and asks about it. Mahi complains that despite Rahi’s earlier mistakes, Anupama continues to back her. Rahi questions Mahi’s jealousy, to which Mahi replies that Anupama would always choose Rahi over anyone else. Prem defends Anupama, stating that she loves all her children equally.
