After the first ‘Ticket to Finale’ task was called off, Bigg Boss OTT 2 makers introduced Family Week with a twist. Each member had to give a star to another contestant who they felt did wonders in the show. Two housemates with the maximum stars were to then become contenders for becoming a finalist through another task.
As already seen via live stream, Pooja Bhatt got three stars followed by Abhishek Malhan with two. Others like Bebika Dhurve, Elvish Yadav and Avinash Sachdev only received one star each. On Wednesday, Bigg Boss introduced a task where both Abhishek and Pooja were given a basket. At intervals, some fruits were given to them on a slide and other contestants had to collect the same and offer it to the one they wanted as a finalist. The first round of the task was called off after Avinash Sachdev and Abhishek Malhan indulged in a physical fight. Given Pooja Bhatt was also unwell, she was asked to pick a representative instead, and she chose Jad Hadid.
Later, in the task, Abhishek Malhan’s friends helped him to easily collect more fruits, making him victorious. He not only became the first finalist of the season but also the last captain of the house. Pooja Bhatt was seen upset over her defeat and called Abhishek’s strategy unfair.
While Pooja Bhatt initially did not like Abhishek Malhan, in recent times, she has been friendly towards him and even seen given advice to play a game better. Evicted contestant Aashika Bhatia addressed this change of heart, and in a chat with indianexpress.com said how Pooja has been playing the game smartly and instigating others against Manisha.
She also laughed at how the changes came in after she left the house for a few hours due to a medical test. “After she came back, her attitude had completely changed. She was making such weird statements and talking ill about Manisha. She was suddenly all loving towards Abhishek. It was really funny to see her behave this way,” she said.
Her feelings have been echoed by fans of the show on social media as they accused the makers of sending Pooja back, giving her an idea on how to play the game hereon.
