Pranali Rathod, who has several successful shows in her kitty, went ahead to garner massive love with her stint in Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. However, post the introduction of a generation leap, the actress called it quits, post which Samridhii Shukla was roped in to replace her.
While Pranali’s fans eagerly awaited her return onscreen, with the announcement of her show Durga, they rejoiced. However, looks like this time around the actress has failed to impress her viewers. While expectations from the actress had sky rocketed post her massively popular stint in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the constantly dropping numbers of her show ‘Durga,’ turned out to be a major disappointment. As per a recent media report, Pranali’s show ‘Durga’ is currently under the scanner of the channel and may be axed by January 2025. While an official confirmation on the same is awaited, this news may come as a shocker for all the ardent fans of the actress.

For the uninformed, Pranali was paired opposite Aashay Mishra in the show. The show also saw popular faces like Indira Krishnan, Parineeta Borthakur and others. Pranali’s show Durga premiered on the 16th of September and within three months of its release has come under the scanner. Poor story line and no improvement in the ratings of the show can be considered a major driving factor for the channel to take this decision.
