In tonight’s Anupamaa episode, Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) brings food to Anupama (Rupali Ganguly), concerned that she hasn’t eaten all day. Anupama, still mourning her son Samar, declines the meal in silence. Anuj expresses his deep distress, even contemplating sacrificing himself to mend their strained relationship. He questions if their bond will remain stagnant and declares that he’d rather die if she maintains her emotional distance. Anupama explains that she can’t allow herself to break down, as her promise to Samar was to stay strong and wipe away her family’s tears. She is determined to seek justice for her son and maintain the family’s hope. Despite understanding Anuj’s position, she admits that hearing his voice reminds her of Samar’s lifeless body wrapped in a white shroud.
Anuj reaches out to hold her hand, but Anupama withdraws, walking away. Anuj, overwhelmed with sorrow, acknowledges that Anupama’s grief is so burdensome that she can’t afford to break down, while he is shattered and can’t bear to live with this separation. Malti Devi returns to comfort him, and he confides in her, lamenting that he has separated a mother from her child. Malti Devi reassures him and offers support as he lies in her lap. Anuj regains his composure and leaves the situation with unspoken words.
Later, Kavya returns home, revealing that Rathore’s men threatened her and the family. They decide to go to the police to give a statement. Malti Devi asks Anupama why she’s angry at Anuj and says she’s punishing him for something he didn’t do. Anupama touches Malti Devi’s feet, and they discuss how Anuj is suffering. Anupama acknowledges that Anuj didn’t ask the goons to harm Samar, but she’s struggling to handle her grief. Meanwhile, Kinjal is scared due to threats from Rathore. Toshu tries reassuring her that they won’t harm her, but Kinjal worries about their safety. Kinjal’s mother suggests moving to the USA to avoid danger. On the other hand, Anuj is still upset about Anupama’s anger. Malti Devi tells him to be patient and that Anupama needs time to forgive him.
The following day, Vanraj and Toshu are supposed to go to the police station, but Toshu refuses, saying he can’t continue with the case. Everyone is shocked, but Toshu explains that he’s concerned about their safety and doesn’t want to risk their lives. He suggests dropping the case because the person they’re up against is dangerous. Kinjal and Leela support Toshu’s decision. Vanraj is disappointed and questions Toshu’s love for Samar.
Precap: Pakhi informs Anupama that Adhik, an eyewitness, won’t give a statement to the police. Vanraj criticizes Toshu and Pakhi, saying that they’re afraid for their own lives. Anupama insists that she and Vanraj will fight for justice for Samar on their own.
