Reports suggest that the creators are planning a significant 10-15-year time jump, and there is speculation that Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna, who play Anupamaa and Anuj, will continue to be part of the show even after the leap.
As the news started circulating, India Forums contacted Kunwar Amar Singh, who plays Titu in the show, for clarification. When asked about the rumoured leap, Kunwar shared, “I have no idea about the leap. There has been no official information from the production house.”
The actor reacted when asked if he would continue if the show leaps, “I can’t say this now. I don’t want to comment unless I get an official confirmation and details.”
Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi, has been a consistent leader in TRP ratings. The show’s gripping family drama, especially the complex dynamics between Anuj Kapadia and Anupamaa, has kept viewers hooked.
