Sony TV’s show Barsatein-Mausam Pyaar Ka starring the very talented duo of Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon in the lead roles has been gaining popularity with every passing day. Right from the sizzling chemistry of the lead pair to the fresh story line of the show, Barsatein has been keeping the audience hooked with its current track.
Well, Shreya Dave, who essays the character of Kimaya, Aradhana’s (Shivangi Joshi) step sister in the show took to her Instagram handle to announce her forthcoming wedding with her long time boyfriend Varun. India Forums got in touch with Shreya to confirm the same and the actress said, ‘’Yes, it is true. I am getting married. It is nothing extra vagant. We will tie the knot on the 29th of September which is also my birthday. We will go to the court and sign the legal documents, that is it.”
Talking about why did the actress opt for a low-key celebration, Shreya said, “My mother in law has been unwell for quite some time now and it was her wish that we get married soon. So, just to fulfill that wish of hers, we have decided to go ahead and get married. I have known Varun for the past 5 years. We decided to take 2 more years before getting married, however, we also do not want to dishearten my mother in law, so we have finally decided to take the plunge.”
Shreya, who has been a part of the Gujrati cinema revealed if she had any apprehensions on taking the step since, Barsatein is her first show in the Hindi television. The actress said, “Not at all. Shaadi toh mujhe Varun se hi karni thi, so, whenever I tie the knot does not matter. I am very happy.”
In the current track of the show, Shreya’s character Kimaya has gone through a major heart break after it was revealed to her that her fiancé Angad is a fraud and he also tried to kill her.
