For the last two weeks, Bigg Boss OTT 2 did not have an eviction. And now, the buzz suggests that host Salman Khan has made an announcement for a double eviction. The Bollywood star shot for the episode on Saturday, and the elimination will air on Sunday. As per sources, Falaq Naaz has been evicted from the show. But, netizens suggest that Jad Hadid too has followed suit.
A source close to the show shared that Falaq Naaz was tagged as the contestant who is not interested in the game. The other housemates picked her as the weakest contestant, and given she got lesser votes than others, the actor was shown the door. It’s also said on social media that Jad Hadid has also been evicted, however, there is no confirmation of the same.
This week, apart from Falaq and Jad, the other nominated contestants included Avinash Sachdev, Aashika Bhatia, Jiya Shankar and Elvish Yadav.
Coming to the said contestants, Lebanese model Jad Hadid entered the house with full confidence. While initially, he was the centre of attraction, he soon got embroiled in a couple of controversies. During a task, Jad kissed Akanksha Puri and then pulled down his pants in front of Bebika Dhurve during a fight. These actions led to Salman Khan getting infuriated, and also embarrassed as he apologised to the audience.
As for Falaq Naaz, the actor entered the show on the heels of her brother Sheezan Khan’s controversy. The Ali Baba actor was accused of allegedly abetting his former girlfriend Tunisha Sharma’s suicide. He was jailed for 70 days and was released in March. Falaq supported her brother during his ordeal.
On the show, Falaq limited her interaction only to Pooja Bhatt, so much so that she was labeled as the ‘copy-paste’ of the actor-filmmaker. There was a hint of romance when co-inmate Avinash Sachdev confessed his feelings for her. However, she friend-zoned him saying she is not ready for a relationship.
