The show is based on a musical background and revolves around the life of 35-year-old Vandana, who chose not to get married and fulfil her family responsibilities. Vandana will fall in love with Kunal, played by Mohit Malik, and this is how the story of the show will proceed.

Our sources close to the show inform us that Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s popular Jodi ‘Abhimanyu and Akshara’ aka, Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod will be seen shooting for a special episode with the cast of Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si. In this episode, Abhimanyu and Akshara bring Vandana and Kunal together. However, this will not be the beginning of their romance but just an introductory episode. We are waiting for more information on the same.
Both Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si are produced by Rajan Shahi under the banner of DKP Productions. The show was slated to release on the 8th of August and has been pushed by two weeks. It was revealed by the cast of the show yesterday that the show will now premiere on the 21st of August. The cast of Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si has earlier shot for an integration episode with the cast of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin sometime back too.
