When will Aamir Khan finally settle down? Trust Kapil Sharma not to pull the punches when the ‘Perfectionist Khan’ finally appeared on his show for the first time in its one decade run. Aamir will grace the couch on The Great Indian Kapil Show’s next episode and its promo gave a peek into what to expect.
Aamir Khan addressed his last two flops as well as his aversion to award shows as he sat down with the host Kapil Sharma and his crew on the Netflix show. In The Great Indian Kapil Show promo, Kapil is seen telling Aamir Khan that he never expected the superstar to appear on his show. Later, Aamir went on to reveal how his kids don’t listen to him at all. He also revealed that they are his in-house fashion advisers, adding how he wanted to appear on the show wearing shorts but they made him change into jeans.
Archana Puran Singh also asked him why he doesn’t attend any award shows. Aamir replied wittily, “Time is very precious, so you should use it wisely.”
Towards the end of the promo, Kapil also popped the big question and asked Aamir if he plans to settle in life. It will only be in the episode that we will learn what the actor said. Aamir was married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. Even after divorces, he continues to be good friends with his ex-wives. He has son Junaid and daughter Ira with his first wife, and co-parents son Azad Rao with Kiran.
He also addressed his flops, Laal Singh Chaddha and Thugs Of Hindostan, Aamir agreed his last two films didn’t work but Kapil said his badly received films made more than others.
Aamir Khan’s last two films Laal Singh Chaddha and Thugs Of Hindostan tanked at the box office, however, his latest production Laapata Ladies have won a lot of critical acclaim. On the acting front, Aamir has Sitaare Zameen Par coming up next.
