Actor Kunwar Amarjeet Singh is best known for his role in the popular show Anupamaa, portraying the role of Titu. In a recent conversation with ETimes TV, Kunwar Amar Singh shed light on his decision to turn down offers to participate in the reality show Bigg Boss despite being approached five times. With candour and clarity, Singh opened up about his views on the show and the reasons why he chose not to take part in it.
Singh expressed a profound reluctance to expose his private life on a public platform like Bigg Boss. “People don’t know how I live at my place,” he shared, emphasising his desire to maintain a certain level of privacy. He acknowledged the show’s capacity to bring out one’s vulnerabilities, stating, “Even your darkest shade comes out” in such an environment. Despite the lure of fame and financial gain, Singh remained resolute in his decision, prioritising his growth as an actor over fleeting notoriety. “I want to do projects as an actor,” he affirmed, suggesting that the short-term benefits of participating in Bigg Boss do not align with his long-term goals.
For those who might not know, Kunwar Amar Singh has been marking his name on TV for quite some time now. You might recognise him as Reyansh Singhania from Dil Dosti Dance. He’s also shown off his moves on reality shows like Dare 2 Dance and Nach Baliye 5. Not stopping there, he’s made appearances on shows like Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Plus, he stepped into the role of Aladdin in Naamkaran. Currently, he’s diving into the character of Titu in “Anupamaa,” playing opposite Dimple (Nishi Saxena) after Samar’s character exits.
