Huma Qureshi has delivered some amazing performances on the big screen, and in the OTT space too. Be it a Gangs of Wasseypur or Monica Oh My Darling, she hass impressed the audiences. Even with her web show Maharani, Huma only emerged as a stronger acting force. With two successful seasons, Huma is all set to return as Rani Bharti in Maharani Season 3. The trailer for the same has been released and it shows Huma torn between justice and revenge, as she struggles to get out of jail and take over the world of politics that has men in charge.
The trailer has hard-hitting lines like, “Bandook kamjor log chalate hai, samajdaar log dimaag, (weak people use guns, smart ones use their brains)”. In the new season, Huma is not just a politician accused of murdering her husband, but she is also a fierce mother. Her vulnerable yet strong stance in the world of politics is very impressive to watch.
Maharani 3 is produced by Naren Kumar and Dimple Kharbanda. It is created by Subhash Kapoor, and directed by Saurabh Bhave. The gripping storyline, penned by Subhash Kapoor and Nandan Singh, features Huma Qureshi, Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, Pramod Pathak, Kani Kusruti, Anuja Sathe, Sushil Pandey, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Sohum Shah in pivotal roles. Maharani 3 premieres from 7th March 2024.
On the professional front, Huma recently wrote a novel called Zeba: An Accidental Superhero. On the film front, she will be seen next in Pooja Meri Jaan.
