Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Sonu aka Palak Sindhwani, who has been shooting for the show for last five years, has officially completed her shooting for it. She recently garnered attention by speaking out about her experiences of mental harassment on set while attempting to quit. Palak has now shared highlights from her final day on the show on her Instagram.
Palak Sindhwani shared a heartfelt note reflecting on her journey with the show. After working with the team for five years, she expressed her gratitude to the audience for their love and support throughout this time.
Palak penned a heartfelt note, she wrote, “As I wrap up my last day on set, I reflect on the past five years filled with hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Thank you to my amazing audience for the love and support you’ve given me throughout this journey.”
She further added, “I’m truly grateful for this journey and the incredible people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I’ve learned so much—not just from my fellow actors, but also from everyone behind the scenes, from my hairstylist to the spot team, makeup team and everyone else. Our goodbyes were filled with tears, and I will cherish the wonderful memories we’ve created together as a team. As I take some time to transition back to a more normal life, I will take this time to reflect, relax and recharge to return stronger and ready for the next chapter.”
Palak then concluded, “PS – Being an actor, stepping onto the set, means letting go of everything and focusing only on delivering your best and that’s what I did right till the final shot. Finally, for the very last time, tune in to watch my dance performance with Bappa tonight at 8:30 as I bid everyone goodbye!!”
Recently, while exclusively talking to India Forums Palak Sindhwani clarified that she did not breach any contract. She explained that after informing the show’s makers of her decision to leave, they started emotionally blackmailing her. As a result, her legal team has issued a notice to the show’s creators. The legal statement asserts that Palak committed no breach of agreement, and claims made by the production house against her are fabricated, filled with lies, and intended to defame and harass her, causing her loss and damage. Palak firmly denies all allegations raised by the production house.
