Puru Chibber, who plays the role of Tejas in Rahul Tewary and Rolling Tales Production’s Udne Ki Aasha, says that he is not one to complain about the hardwork TV makes you do. He says that he considers himself very lucky to be working on TV
“I feel blessed to have work. I’m thankful to be a working actor, doing TV, and playing a good part with a great production team. TV actors are just labelled that way, but everything is changing now. TV is as famous as films or OTT, and being famous on TV means people recognize you more. I don’t mind being called a TV actor,” he says.
He adds, “The production planning has been excellent in my show, allowing us to balance work and time off with our families. I’m blessed to work with such a great production house and producers. We have no complaints about holidays, and we manage work and leisure well because of the planning.”

He adds, “I don’t like night shoots as I love my sleep. Thankfully, there haven’t been any night shoots so far. Summers are exhausting, especially this year, making outdoor shoots challenging. We recently shot a sequence in Thane, which was tough, but everyone handled it well. That’s how we manage as a team.”
Ask him why he loves to work on TV, and he says, “The best part about working on TV is the growth it brings. Working every day for most of the month teaches you to prepare and perform quickly. TV helps you work efficiently and program your mind to adapt quickly, which is beneficial for other platforms like OTT or films. So, TV is TV.”
