Actor Sooraj Thappar is making waves with his latest role in the television series Badall Pe Paon Hai, which explores the multifaceted world of the stock market. Thappar’s character brings a unique perspective to the show, contributing to its rich narrative tapestry. According to Thappar, the series has a profound message about education and self-realization, which he hopes will resonate with viewers.
Thappar believes that the impact of the show could be significant, even if it reaches a small fraction of the audience. “I think even if out of the whole population of India and around the world, 0.01% of people also get inspired, it is enough,” he says.
He elaborates that the show aims to provide a platform for viewers to understand the nuances of stock market investments and encourages them to pursue their dreams. “They will have a way to make their dreams a reality. But education is extremely important, and the central character, Baani, realizes that she should have studied more as it could have helped her,” Thappar adds.
There is no negative, no positive in him. My character has shown both sides

In discussing his role, Thappar highlights the complexity of his character, Bishan Khanna. Unlike many characters in the show, Khanna does not fall neatly into categories of good or bad. “There is no negative, no positive in him. My character has shown both sides. He is not against Baani personally, but he is skeptical about investing in the share market because his son-in-law made mistakes with it. However, he doesn’t want to understand more about how safe investment could be beneficial. Every character has two sides and different points of view in this show,” Thappar explains.
Thappar notes that his portrayal of Bishan Khanna does not require him to delve deeply into the intricacies of stock market operations. “My character, Bishan Khanna, is not into the stock market, so I didn’t have to learn much about it,” he shares.
Looking ahead, Thappar teases intriguing developments in the upcoming episodes. “The family is full-on fun, with the usual ups and downs that are part of everyone’s lives. Baani’s office might bring new challenges, and the viewers will get to learn a lot,” he hints. This blend of personal and professional challenges promises to keep the audience engaged, offering both entertainment and educational value.
