Headlined by Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra in the lead, the recently-released political-thriller film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ is based on the Godhra train burning incident at the Sabarmati Express, which had taken place on February 27, 2002.
Jointly produced by Ektaa R. Kapoor-Shobha Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and Vikir Film Production, The Sabarmati Express features Vikrant as Samar Kumar, Ridhi as Manika Rajpurohit, and Raashii as Amrita align with Barkha Singh in a special appearance among others.

The Sabarmati Report OTT Release Date, Platform Updates: When & Where To Watch After Theatrical Run?
The post-theatrical digital streaming rights of Vikrant’s The Sabarmati Report have been acquired by Zee5 already. While the official OTT release date is yet to be announced, it is being said that the political-thriller drama will have its OTT premiere on Zee5 in late December 2024 or early January 2024. However, there is no official confirmation yet.
The Sabarmati Report Box Office Collection
The Sabarmati had a slow start at the box office with a collection of Rs 1.69 cr (net) on day 1. As posted by the makers, the movie saw a significant growth on Saturday, and earned around Rs 2.62 cr, taking the total estimated collection to Rs 4.31 cr in 2 days.
