Talking about the reactions she’s getting for Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein 2, Aanchal said, “It’s been a very overwhelming response because now people have named me only Purva. So, whether it’s people reaching out on social media handles or whether I’m walking, even email… basically people are doing everything to reach out to me and to genuinely express how much they love Purva. If you see from Season 1 to Season 2, there’s been a proper arc to this character. Season 1 mostly saw her as this obsessive lover who’s silently strong, she smiles and she’s calculating things within her. In the second season, you see her as a vulnerable girl. She’s at times crying and weeping. But then, the essence of Purva is that she’s a very strong lady. She does come out and fight.”

She added, “So, this arc has made people mostly attached to her. So, people are writing proper long emails and messages as to how and why this character has touched them why Purva should get the love of her life, or why Vikrant should realize that Purva is the right person for her. Even people have questioned me why are you (Purva) so genuinely and madly in love with Vikrant because they feel for her at this point. So, there’s not a bigger compliment for an actor when the audience feels for you and affects you emotionally, and psychologically, so that’s like a big takeaway for me.”

As Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein 2 has been continuously trending on Netflix, fans are looking forward to its third season. On being asked about the possibility of Season 3, the actress replied, “Like the audiences, all I hope is to speak about another season. But, I think, right now, people really should first enjoy this. I think the subsequent season, whenever it has to happen, will happen and will be spoken about. But, right now, people are loving this so much. Ek hota hai na, you can’t get enough of it, you want more. Now, after watching Season 2, people are going back and watching Season 1. So, I think, this is good, they need to hold on to this. And the subsequent season, whenever the right time is, would be spoken about.”
