Created by Sidharth Sengupta, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 2 had its much-awaited premiere on Netflix today (November 22). The 6-episode crime-thriller sequel dropped on the said streaming platform at 1:30 pm. The show stars Tahir Raj Bhasin as Vikrant, Shweta Tripathi Sharma as Vikrant college sweetheart Shikha, Aanchal Singgh as the daughter of a gangster-politician, Purva. Purva, who is obsessed with Vikrant forcefully marries him. In the second season, Gurmeet Choudhary has joined the dynamic cast as spy and Purva’s friend ‘Guru’.
The show also features Saurabh Shukla, Arunoday Singh, Brijendra Kala and Varun Badola among others in important roles. The first season ended with Purva getting kidnapped, the season 2 focuses on its aftermath. The official synopsis reads, “Amidst the search for Purva, Vikrant finds himself falling into deeper trouble. A figure from Purva’s past looms large and a ransom war triggers chaos.”
