Zee TV is launching a new show, Vasudha, on September 16th, promising a fresh narrative on Indian television. The show, produced by Arvind Babbal Productions, delves into the lives of two women with completely different backgrounds and temperaments.
The series centers on Chandrika Singh Chauhan, played by Nausheen Ali Sardar. Chandrika is a powerful businesswoman in Udaipur who is known for her strict principles and dedication to justice. She runs her empire with a firm hand and expects absolute adherence to her high standards. Her strong personality and commitment to rules make her a formidable figure in her community.
In stark contrast, Priya Thakur stars as Vasudha, a young woman who is innocent and carefree. Vasudha is unfamiliar with the strict urban life and has a trusting nature. Her attempts to win over Chandrika often lead to trouble, creating an engaging clash between the two women.
Abhishek Sharma plays Devansh Singh Chauhan, Chandrika’s son. Devansh is the epitome of his parents’ best qualities—empathy from his father and discipline from his mother. He respects his mother deeply and believes in giving people a second chance.
The show explores how these two women, as different as fire and ice, come together and influence each other’s lives in unexpected ways. Vasudha aims to offer a narrative that is both compelling and original.
