Jigyasa Singh, who has won hearts with popular shows on screen rose to fame with her stint in Colors TV’s popular show ‘Thapki Pyaar Ki.’ The actress who essayed the character of Thapki, a girl who stammered, won a lot of hearts with her simplicity and yet her powerful screen presence in the show.
Jigyasa took to her Instagram handle today and expressed gratitude as her show Thapki Pyaar Ki completed 8 years. She further expressed gratitude and thanked everyone who was a part of her journey.
The actress then shared a few videos and pictures of her stint from Thapki Pyaar Ki as she dived into some nostalgia, leaving all the fans of the show nostalgic too.
Sharing a boomerang Jigyasa wrote, “TODAY AS I COMPLETE 8 YEARS OF MY DEBUT SHOW ‘areI WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND MY HEARTIEST GRATITUDE AND THANK EACH AND EVERYPERSON WHO WERE A PART OF MY JOURNEY !1 LOVE YOU ALLAND MANY MANY MORE TO GO.”
Jigyasa, who was last seen in the second instalment of the show had quit the show mid way owing to health reasons. The show was then taken over by Prachi Bansal, but it could not connect with the audience and hence it was taken down.
Thapki Pyaar Ki season one starred Jigyasa Singh and Manish Goplani in titular roles. The show also starred Monika Khanna, Jaya Bhattacharya, Ankit Bathla and other popular faces.
On the work front, Jigyasa has been a part of shows like Thapki Pyaar Ki, Nazar, Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsas Ki, Dev and Thapki Pyaar Ki 2.
