Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa makes a homecoming to Sony Entertainment Television



The celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, which initially began on Sony Entertainment Television and later moved to Colors for its last few seasons, is now returning to its roots on Sony Entertainment Television. In its 10th season on Colors, the show was judged by Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Karan Johar, Nora Fatehi, and Terence Lewis and concluded in November 2022 with Gunjan Sinha as the winner and Rubina Dilaik as the first runner-up.

According to one of the leading portals, a source linked to the production house confirmed that Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is returning to Sony Entertainment Television, where the reality show originally started its journey. The team is presently in the process of selecting judges and reaching out to celebrity participants. They aim to have all the necessary arrangements in order within a month and a half.

Gunjan Sinha, the winner of the 10th season, expressed her post-victory aspirations, stating that her journey on the show had made her a better dancer, and she intended to continue learning various dance forms. She mentioned her plans to return to Guwahati for school, where she would focus on her studies alongside her passion for dance.

Previous winners of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa included Teriya Magar (9th edition), Faisal Khan (8th season), Ashish Sharma (7th edition), Drashti Dhami (6th season), and Gurmeet Choudhary (5th edition) when the show was on Colors. In its early days on Sony Entertainment Television, Mona Singh and Prachi Desai emerged as the winners of the inaugural and second editions, respectively.
