Speaking to us about her Karwachauth celebrations, the actress said, ”Karwa Chauth is a beautiful celebration of love and devotion. It represents the strong and enduring relationships that are the cornerstone of our culture. I keep Karwa Chauth fast every year, my husband and I usually celebrate this festival with our friends where all the ladies get together and do the puja. Early in the morning of Karwa Chauth, my mother-in-law gives me sargi, which I ensure to eat before sunrise. This festival is very important to me since it is a tradition that has been followed through the generations of my family.”

Manisha Purohit’s words reflect the sentiment of millions who celebrate Karwa Chauth each year. It is a celebration of not just love between couples but also of the love between generations, traditions, and the rich cultural tapestry of India.
