Zee TV is all set to entertain the audience with its upcoming shown Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyay Shiv Shakti. The show will witness Arjun Bijlani and Nikki Sharma essaying the titular characters of Shiv and Shakti. On the launch event of the show in Delhi, Nikki got in an exclusive chat with us and revealed what the audience can expect from the show. The actress said, ”Well, the audience can expect a lot fo romance from the show. Because like the name of the show suggests, it is the love story of Shiv and Shakti which was the world’s first love story. Nothing greater than Shiv and Parvati’s love story. They were the ideal partners. Just like Shivji and Parvati completed each other, the both of us are also fulfilling a purpose for one another. He will help me fulfil my dreams which is very important to Shakti. It is almost like you know, when you’re whole, when you’re complete, you’re so content and happy with yourself that you radiate that to everyone around you. For Shiv, that specific emotion of Shakti is going to heal him, her love and healing power are going to work for him.”
Talking about her show being a spin off of Shabbir Ahluwalia starrer Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, the actress said, ”Well, our show is not a spin-off as such. It is a separate story. It’s just that our show begins in that show – it is a way of introducing a few characters and then slowly transition into this story, which is an individual story. The makers are same but again, the story is different.”
We asked Nikki about the story of the show being a tad bit similar, (The aspect where the heroine heals the hero) Speaking about this Nikki said, ”See, if we talk about the feminine energy, it was always supposed to be more loving and more healing and I think women have that softness. I have not seen their show but whatever I know about Radha, her love was so immense for Krishna that it was very overwhelming and healing for him. I would not say that our show is relayed to theirs.”
Nikki also shared her experience of shooting with Arjun Bijlani and Shabbir Ahluwalia. The actress said, ”My experience of shooting with them was amazing. With Arjun, the ice broke off very quickly. We bonded very naturally because we were both were giving out very good energies into the scenes we were performing. When I shot with Shabbir too, well, he is such a fun person. I remember, we were playing Atlas. Like we would go for the shot, come back and the resume playing. And the fact that Arjun and Shabbir are so humble, it sets for a great mindset. then you too from your side try to be as courteous and nice as possible.”
