Urvashi Dholakia returns to Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible as the righteous lawyer Devi Shekhawat

Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible explores the life of Pushpa (Karuna Pandey), a single mother who maintains determination and a solution-oriented approach in the face of life’s challenges. Pushpa has taught her family to be strong and support each other when times get tough. In recent episodes, when Rashi (Deshna Dugad) was being stalked by a boy, not only did Pushpa rise to her daughter’s defence, but the entire family supported her and gave Rashi the courage to stand up for herself, too.

As the upcoming episodes delve into the ongoing custody battle between Mahendra (Amish Tanna) and Ayushi (Gunjan Bhatia) for Golu (Hans Aslot), it raises a crucial question about whether biological parenthood outweighs the role of the one who raises and nurtures a child. Pushpa steps in to help Mahendra, a man who may not be the biological father of Golu but has wholeheartedly raised him, shaping his character and values. In the middle of legal challenges and emotional ups and downs, the arrival of Devi Singh (played by Urvashi Dholakia), a well-known lawyer, brings hope for Pushpa and Mahendra. With her expertise and support in this custody battle, viewers will be eagerly waiting to see whether Mahendra wins this case or confronts the risk of losing Golu forever.

Urvashi Dholakia, who plays the character of Devi Singh, said, “My character, Devi, is all about empowerment as she advocates for a cause often overlooked by many. In Golu’s case, she believes that parenthood goes beyond mere biological ties and love and care don’t require a tag or society’s approval. Mahendra has been an excellent father to Golu and deserves to continue being that. It’ll be extremely interesting to see how the custody fight unfolds and to witness Devi give it her all to help Mahendra win this.”

Karuna Pandey, who plays the character of Pushpa, said, “I believe being a parent is about more than just giving birth. It’s nurturing and upbringing that define parenthood, and Mahendra is Golu’s father in that sense. My character, Pushpa, has always been one to stand by her family and support what is right. She’s doing just that by helping Mahendra fight Golu’s custody.”
