In an exclusive interview with India Forums, Albert Kabo Lepcha shared insights into his triumphant journey, aspirations, and more.
Q: Albert, it was a significant day for you. What were your emotions in that moment?
Albert: That day was exceptionally special for me because Pooja and I had dreamt of lifting the trophy, and it has now become a reality. Both of us are extremely happy.
Q: How did you feel when your name was announced on the stage?
Albert: I was a bit anxious wondering who the winner would be, but when my name was finally announced, I was overwhelmed. In that moment, I thought of my daughter because without her being a part of my life, I wouldn’t have reached this point.
Q: Reflecting on your journey in the show, how do you perceive it?
Albert: It was an incredibly special journey, and I will cherish it forever. The care we received and the musical education we were imparted with will always hold a special place in my heart. From rehearsals to the scoldings, every moment is memorable. I spent most of my time with Bullet, and we had a fantastic time.
Q: Do you believe that this victory will enhance your exposure and visibility in the industry?
Albert: The opportunity to showcase solo songs provided by Zee has already garnered us significant exposure among composers and music directors. I hope to maintain this momentum in the future and will give it my best.
Q: Is there an actor you aspire to lend your voice to?
Albert: I believe it has to be Ranbir Kapoor; I would love to sing for him.
